With 25 quality, Catholic, college preparatory high schools serving 7,400 low-income students nationwide, the Cristo Rey Network is preparing urban youth for success in college and in life. Graduates are enrolling and persisting in college at nearly twice the rate as their peers from the same socio-economic background. A recent grant from the Walton Family Foundation is supporting the growth of Network to open another 25 schools serving an additional 12,500 students. Cristo Rey Network schools are succeeding and will continue to serve urban youth with limited educational options for years to come.
